Rip hears the emotion and does his level best to keep his own tone calm even though it hurts, deeply hurts to hear Sara speak to him like that. The Legends did all they could to save him when he was trapped in the past, did everything they could to save him when he turned against them and shot Sara and with one disastrous mission he'd ruined all that trust and friendship. "I would suggest possibly having one of the Legends lead each of these teams.
