3. Alex never has had a taste for fighting. Perhaps that's why it made so much sense for so many of his abilities to be protective in nature. That isn't to say he's without fighting capability. If any of the Mongols thought that the tall but frail looking kid wasn't, they were regretting it now. He wields something else that would be invisible to most, long tentacles that rip swords and trip horses that dare approach him. A few even start fleeing in terror as he keeps fighting them off, only to regain their senses once they've gotten far enough.
The older teen is still growing tired as he fights, blood pooling on his sweatshirt as their arrows and swords add to his already numerous scars. He keeps urging them to leave, that there's better ways to fight back then letting themselves be killed, but quite a few seem to have no interest in his warnings. "Wh-what th-the!? H-how high are you all!? Get outta here!" He still fights to protect the protesters despite how close he seems to falling to them himself.
7. Among all the holiday cheer is a boy alone, sitting on his phone at a coffee shop. Everyone around him is full of Christmas cheer, but he seems like he's in a world apart. He pulls his hood up to hide his expression as a family comes in, each one getting some kind of tasty treat. He quickly gets up and leaves, walking out with his eyes on his shoes, watching as tears drop to the ground. He leaves in such a rush it would be easy for him to walk straight into someone.
